The Coconut Tree

When residents and visitors alike walk along the beaches in Nevis to enjoy the sand and sea, they will notice an abundance of coconut trees reaching up towards the sky.  As a result of the frequency of hurricanes in the Caribbean, coconut trees, especially those along the shoreline, tend to be bruised and battered, but somehow are able to weather the storm.  The deep and strong roots, high aims and hardiness of the coconut tree enables it to not only survive, but thrive in a sometimes difficult environment. These characteristics are shared with our law firm, thus the coconut tree is the symbol of Liburd and Dash.
