Dear Colleagues,

  We are pleased to announce that the meetings of 7th APCPST(Asia Pacific Conference on Plasma Science and Technology)and 17th SPSM (Symposium on Plasma Science for Materials) will jointly be held in the Fukuoka International Congress Center in June 29 -July 2, 2004 to sight the current status of the physics and chemistry of low temperature or thermal plasmas for industrial applications.This joint conference will bring the plasma community together to create a forum for discussing the latest developments and for recognizing challenges ahead in the field of plasma research and applications among scientists in Asia and Pacific Rim as well as those in Europe.

Submission of Abstract March 26, 2004

Pre-Registration (Early Registration) May 21, 2004

Executive Committee is planning to support the participants of Ph.D. students and scientists who wish travel support. To request support, the participants should send an application letter and a copy of the abstract to the General Secretary (H. Muta: apcpst@aees.kyushu-u.ac.jp).

Application must be received no later than the abstract deadline, March 26, 2004.
