The Society was appraised as \u201cNational Outstanding Non-Governmental Organization\u201d by Chinese Ministry of Civil Administration (MCA) in 2004, 2010 and 2015. In 2011, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People\u2019s Republic of China and CAST awarded the Society the title of \u201cAdvanced Group Model\u201d. The Society was appraised as \u201cOutstanding Science and Technology Association\u201d by CAST in 2012 and 2015 respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Journals that CSTAM sponsored have made a great achievement during the past years. <em>Chinese Journal of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics<\/em>, <em>Acta Mechanica Sinica<\/em>, <em>Advances in Mechanics<\/em>, <em>Theoretical and Applied Mechanics Letters<\/em> (TAML), <em>Applied Mathematics and Mechanics<\/em> (English Edition), and <em>Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica<\/em> etc. are well-known journals in local mechanics community.
