  • The development ofairbreathing hypersonic vehicles is one of the focuses ininternational competition for near space flight. The latestresearch of three-dimensional inward turning hypersonic inlet ispresented, and some recent research results of thesection-controllable internal waverider hypersonic inlet in IFRCof NUAA, China is proposed in detail. On the integration ofhypersonic inlet and waverider forebody, typical jobs betweenrectangular two-dimensional and waverider airframe are reportedand the integration of three-dimensional inward turning hypersonicinlet and waverider forebody is also elaborated. The futuredevelopment trend is suggested for both the hypersonic inlet andairframe-propulsion integration, and a new concept ofdual-waverider is finally proposed.
