Otorhinolaryngology are organs of direct contact with the external environment.Their functions and related diseases are closely related with the external environment. Biomechanical models of these organs are important for exploring the mechanism of function realization in a certain environment and for the prediction and treatment of the related diseases. This paper reviews the development of study on biomechanical modeling of Otorhinolaryngology. The clinical applications of research results are also presented. Finally, the future trend of research on biomechanical models of otorhinolaryngology is prospected.
