Abstract:
As the number of man-made objects in space continues growing, the Earth's orbital space has become more crowded, and there is a growing risk of collision for on-orbit satellites. Based on the public orbital data of a large number of space objects, this paper calculates and analyzes the degree of collision risk for on-orbit satellites in the current space environment, gives the collision risk level in different orbital regions, and points out several typical areas with significantly high collision risk. Finally, from the perspective of the safety of the space debris environment, several pieces of advice are suggested for the deployment of satellite orbits, which can be referred for the satellites to be launched.
