以《边界层理论》教学为例浅谈科学研究的八要素分析法

THE 8 ELEMENTS ANALYSIS METHOD IN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH: TAKING THE TEACHING OF BOUNDARY LAYER THEORY AS AN EXAMPLE

  • 摘要: 以本科《空气动力学》课程中“边界层理论”章节的教学内容为例,将研究自然科学的一般性过程归纳为八要素,即8个Tions,分别是:Conception(概念)、Assumption(假设)、Formulation(建模)、Reduction(简化)、Solution(求解)、Validation(验证)、Generalization(泛化)以及Application(应用)。教师在讲授一个自然科学的理论时可以使用八要素作为分析框架,引导学生关注科学理论背后的逻辑思考、以及这一科学理论的历史发展脉络。学生掌握科学研究的八要素分析法,有助于以研究者的视角切入科学理论,并有助于建立从事科学研究的基本思维框架。

     

    Abstract: This paper uses the "Boundary Layer Theory" chapter from the undergraduate course "Aerodynamics" as a case study to distill the scientific research process into 8 essential elements, termed the 8 Tions: Conception, Assumption, Formulation, Reduction, Solution, Validation, Generalization, and Application. Educators can employ these 8 elements as an analytical framework to guide students in understanding the logical foundations of scientific theories and their historical evolution. Mastery of this method enables students to approach scientific theories from a researcher's perspective, laying a solid foundation for engaging in scientific inquiry.
