Abstract:
The temperature influence onparameters of a geophone is studied. Based on data analysis for the parametersmeasured in high precision, their responses to temperatureare revealed, including the output resistance, natural frequency,damping and sensitivity. Some strategies are proposed for controllingthe variations with respect to temperature and the feasibility is shown by the preliminary experimentresults. At last, it is shown that the parameters of a geophonecan be controlled, and without a further significant improvement, asupper-geophone with high precision can be made working in a range of 10-20Hz.
