Abstract:
The engineering background and technical reality aboutcalibrating the clamping parameters of a cupping testing machine isintroduced. A solution method of using a cross cantilever sensor to calibrate theclamping parameters is presented, with the mathematical model for calculating theclamping parameters. The problems such as stress distribution,manufacture of the sensor and calibration, non-linearity errorcorrection, data processing for the device are discussed, and atechnique basis for calibrating the clamping parameters of acupping testing machine is provided.
