Abstract:
In this paper, the ``strain equivalent assumption'' isintroduced into the viscoelastic constitutive model of bituminousmixture and the dissipation energy expression with damage, theviscoelastic damage evolution law and the fatigue function under cyclingloading are deduced. The viscoelaticfatigue damage model consists of three factors: stress, frequency andtemperature. A qualitative analysis indicates that the viscoelatic fatiguedamage model can be applied to analyze fatigue damage of asphalt pavement.Laboratory fatigue tests of bituminous mixture at different stresses,frequencies and temperatures are carried out on MTS to obtain the parametersof viscoelatic fatigue damage model and the viscoelatic fatigue damagemodel is verified.
