AN EFFECTIVE APPROACH OF STRESS CONSTRAINT IN COMMON ELEMENTS FOR THE OPTIMIZATION OF PLANE CONTINUUM STRUCTURES
Common elements for the optimization of plane continuum structures are discussed. It is verified that adopting the maximum of Mises stress on all of the nodes of the element as the stress constraint is reasonable.
