NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF GAS SOLID TWO PHASE FLOW IN PULVERIZED RING SHAPED PIPE SEPARATOR

  • Numerical simulating approach was used to study gas solid two phase flow in pulverized ring shaped pipe separator.The angle of densifing ring and the set of separating ring shaped wall were optimized, which was useful for engineering design. The numerical results were compared with experimental results and good agreement was found.
