THE EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF BUCKLING FOR LIQUID FILLED CYLINDERS UNDER AXIAL COMPRESSION

  • In this paper,the internal pressure for liquid-filled cylinders is analysed experimentally and theoretically.The relationship between internal pressure and axial force before buckling is obtained based on the thin-walled shell theory,and the effect to internal pressure is also discussed.The relationship between internal pressure and axial force is also obtained in laboratory.The critical load and buckling model are obtained,and the bearing capacity is also discussed
