INVESTIGATION ON THE PRESSURE DROP AND REPDS IN CYCLONE SEPARATOR

REPDS as a stick for reducing pressure drop stick in cyclone separators has been introduced.Effect of REPDS on the performance of cyclones has been studied by measuring pressure drop and collection efficiency with and without REPDS.The mechanism of pressure drop reduction and the reason that REPDS can maintain the efficiency while reducing the pressure drop has been revealed by the flow field measurement.
