THE HORIZONTAL DISPLACEMENT OF UNDERGROUND CIRCULAR CONTINUOUS WALL STRUCTURE

The circular underground continuous wall is studied in the paper. The continuous wall is simplified as an elasticthin cylinder. A unit thickness ring is considered as a plane-strainproblem. With polar coordinate systemthe analytic solution is obtained. The calculated values agree well with the actual test values.
