RIGID-FLEXIBLE COUPLED DYNAMICAL ANALYSIS OF ANTENNA PEDESTAL DRIVE SYSTEMS

Abstract
In order to analyze the dynamic characteristics of anantenna pedestal drive system, a new dynamic model called a rigid-flexiblecoupled model is proposed. In the new model, the deformation ofspinnings and the supporting of bearings are considered. Gear tooth meshis also taken into account based on an advanced contact model. Thetraditional multi-body transmission system model is improved, where the deformation of spinnings and the supporting of bearings are neglected. The simulationresults reflect the dynamic characteristics of the antenna pedestal drivesystem, consistent with the theoretical analysis. The dynamicmodel and results may provide a guidance to engineering design and capabilitycheckout.
