WHO SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE LAPTOP DISPLAY CRUSHED BY SEAT BACKREST ON HIGH-SPEED TRAIN

When taking a high-speed train, there were occasional accidents that the laptop display on the small table was crushed by the front seat backrest, which caused unnecessary economic losses to both passengers. This paper first introduced a typical case happened on March 4, 2022, then analyzed the reasons for the crushing of the laptop display on the tray table by using the mechanical theory, and finally gave the optimized design suggestion of the train seat and the tray table, which can provide an important reference for avoiding the recurrence of similar accidents.
