EQUIVALENT MECHANICAL MODEL OF LATERAL SWAYING OF LIQUID IN FUELING TRUCK TANKS

  • In order to deal with the influence of the lateral swaying of the liquid in the tank on the rollover of a military refueling truck, a dual-mass elliptical rail pendulum equivalent mechanical model is proposed on the basis of the principle of the single-mass elliptical rail pendulum equivalent mechanical model, and the kinetic equations of the dual-mass elliptical rail pendulum model are deduced by the Lagrange method, and the key parameters in the model are fitted by numerical simulation based on FLUENT, and the results show that the dual-mass elliptical rail pendulum model exhibits high prediction accuracy and is stable and reliable under all acceleration excitations. Finally, the prediction accuracy of the single-mass elliptical rail pendulum and dual-mass elliptical rail pendulum model is evaluated and compared, and the results show that the dual-mass elliptical rail pendulum model exhibits high prediction accuracy and is stable and reliable under various acceleration excitations, which provides theoretical and analytical bases for the improvement of the lateral inclination stability of military refueling trucks.
