APPLICATION OF THE LATTICE BOLTZMANN METHOD-ONE-DIMENSIONAL DAM BREAK SIMULATION

A Lattice Boltzmann model for onedimensional unsteady open channel flows is established, by analyzing the multi-scale equations of theLB method and the one-dimensional shallow waterequations. One-dimensional dam break, a classical and practical problem, is simulated by the LBscheme.
