CONSTITUTIVE RELATION AND COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH OF OCEANIC ICE

  • A mathematical model based on the actual state of oceanic ice is established. According tothis model, the constitutive relation is derived and compared with theexperiment of uniaxial anti-pressure strength. The formule for the maximum anti-pressurestrength is derived to describe the relations betweencompressive strength and strain rate of oceanic ice, and is verified bytests. This formula can be used for related structural analysis.
