THE NEURAL NETWORK CONTROL BASED ON INDEPENDENT MODAL SPACE CONTROL OF STRUCTURE

  • In all active control methods for the vibration offlexible structures, independent modal space control(IMSC) is anappropriate method to control the vibration of the structure. But itmay bring about the observation-spillover and the control-spillover for thestructure if an appropriate controller has not beenchosen. The neuralnetwork control enjoys better robustness, which suppresses the spilloverefficiently. In this paper, a neural network controller based onindependent modal space control(IMSC) is designed. Simulation resultson flexible beams and plates show its effectiveness.
