THE DRIFT STIFFNESS ANALYSIS OF THE REINFORCED CONCRETE SHEARWALL WITH VERTICAL SEAMS

  • In order to reduce the structural drift stiffness andweaken the seismic response of structures under a strong earthquake,a reinforced concrete shearwall with vertical seams has been designed.Based on its behavior under the horizontal loads, the model ofcalculating its drift stiffness and the corresponding formulae areestablished. The results obtained from the model were found to agreewell with the experimental results.
