AN FEM ALGORITHM FOR PARALLEL PROCESSING COMPUTER SYSTEM

Traditional FEM algorithm analysis for a serial processing computer can notsatisfy the demand of scientific research and engineering technologydevelopment. Parallelprocessing technology provides a new prospect for solving this kind of problems. Cluster parallelcomputer uses a very popular parallel processing method at present. Based on the features of FE Method,this paper proposes a parallel finite element algorithm, together withan Object-Oriented FEM programunder multi-parallel computers with distributing memory. The calculatedexamples show that thisalgorithm improves analyzing efficiency with simple organization.
