Abstract:
A micromechanical model for elastic behaviour analysis of woven fabric composites is proposed in this paper. This model takes into account the actual fabric structure by considering the fibre undulation and continuity along both the warp and weft directions, the gaps between adjacent yarns and the actual cross sectional geometry of the yarn.
